Pricing and total cost

Both publish a fixed price per video by length. Hyred lists €79, €99 and €119 for 15, 30 and 60 seconds (about $88, $111 and $133 at the ECB rate of $1.1195 per euro on October 14, 2026), with no monthly fees, all rights and the raw files included. Editing (from €79, about $88), extra hooks (€24, about $27 each) and photos are add-ons. Ad Army's prices include the edit: a 30 second video comes with three hook variations, captions and licensed music.

Compared like for like, Ad Army costs less. An edited 30 second video on Hyred is about $199, or about $253 with two extra hooks to match Ad Army's three, against $175 on Ad Army. Ten edited 30 second videos come to about $1,993 on Hyred against $1,750 on Ad Army (pricing). If you edit in house, Hyred's unedited base price is lower (about $1,108 for ten). Its buy 4, get a 5th free offer and exchange rates can change the totals. Neither charges a subscription or a fee on sales or ad spend. Our guide to UGC pricing and hidden fees lists what to check.

Who picks the creators

This is the biggest difference. On Hyred you choose: creators apply to your task and you select one, based on previous work and reviews. Hyred says it vets creators, with an acceptance rate of 16%, and generates a script for your product that you can replace with your own.

Ad Army works the other way: you describe what you need and we cast from our vetted roster. Creators stay anonymous, so you can't pick or message a specific person, but there is no shortlist to review; you approve finished videos instead of people.

Rights, whitelisting and reporting

Both give you strong rights. Hyred's FAQ says you receive full usage rights and IP transfer, including paid media rights with no time limit; its platform terms also let Hyred use the content to market the brand and Hyred, and its agency terms describe a 12 month licence. Ad Army includes full content rights on every video for any placement, with no expiry.

We could not find whitelisting or Spark Ads on Hyred's public pages. Ad Army offers them for $50 per video, if the creator agrees.

On results, Hyred describes a performance refund differently across its pages: 50% back on its pricing page, and 100% back under testing conditions in its refund policy and on its home page, so confirm which terms apply. We could not find per-video reporting or attribution on its public pages. Ad Army gives every approved video its own tracking code, with last-click attribution, hook rate, hold rate and ROAS per video.
