Pricing and total cost

JoinBrands lists content prices from $25+ per UGC video and $10+ per UGC image, with a platform fee added to each creator payment. The fee depends on your plan: 15% on the free pay-as-you-go plan, 12% on Start-up at $99 a month, 10% on Pro at $299 and 8% on Max at $499, with monthly credits on the paid plans and no lock-in on monthly billing. The $25+ figure has no stated video length, so ten 30 second videos could cost more; the published floor for ten videos is $287.50 on the free plan.

Ad Army's ten 30 second edits cost $1,750, with captions, music and three hook variations each, editing included and nothing added on top. The gap is the work: on a marketplace you brief, choose and review creators yourself, while Ad Army's price also covers casting and editing. Our guide to UGC cost per video explains how to compare all-in costs.

Who picks the creators

On JoinBrands you pick: you can invite creators from its marketplace or let creators apply and choose who to work with. Its pricing page cites a network of 4M+ creators and affiliates. For physical products, creators film after your product arrives, and JoinBrands holds your payment until the content is approved.

On Ad Army, we cast creators from our vetted roster and they stay anonymous to you. You can't hand-pick or message creators, but you also don't screen applicants or ship to dozens of people.

Rights, whitelisting and reporting

JoinBrands lists full content rights on every plan with no usage limits stated, and its FAQ says you own licensing and distribution rights for social, websites, ads and more. Ad Army also includes full content rights for organic, ads and any placement on every video, with no expiry.

JoinBrands includes TikTok Spark and Instagram Partnership Ad codes in relevant campaigns at no extra cost, which is a real advantage. Ad Army charges $50 per video for Spark Ads or whitelisting, only if the creator agrees. JoinBrands tracks creator metrics such as GMV, views and engagement; Ad Army reports per video with a tracking code, last-click attribution, hook rate, hold rate and ROAS.
